- Narration Demo
Narration
Narration is an umbrella term I use for longer audio projects without a direct link to sales. This includes corporate training videos, documentary style narration, and even audio books. The skills required for Narration are more expansive than other forms of Audio performance. Sheer stamina is a factor for one, but also there needs to be a deeper understanding of the source material. The understanding of the story, the passion of the company, and the emotional guidance are all factors needed to be deeply considered and understood for a quality performance.
Commercials
Commercial work is all about selling your service or product, but it’s more than just sounding nice. It’s understanding the company brand, kindling proper emotions, and establishing a call to action. Commercials can be seductive, they can be exciting, they can be empathetic, but they all require proper rhythm and inflection that translate into a memorable and clear inspiration.
The advertising world is always changing, and it’s up to your voice actor (that’s me) to make sure we’re communicating with the client, and not just speaking at them.

Characters
Character voices is where it’s time to have fun, but never at the expense of a high quality product. Whether we’re matching a character to a voice or a voice to a character, it’s important to have a clear understanding of volume and pitch control. A character is only as strong as their voice, and their voice is only as good as their weakest line, so consistency and a well regulated range of tone and emotion are critical.
Direction is paramount for an incorporated character for any animation, film, game, or even non visual medium. My at-home studio is well equipped for remote direction over a multitude of platforms, allowing you or your directors and/or editors to listen to the performances live, recording into my systems for editing or directly to your editor.

Video Games
Video games are building more and more, and are shooting to the forefront of entertainment, and with that more talent is always needed to keep the performances fresh and unique. Not only is voice flexibility essential to sell fantasy lands, space aliens, soldiers, robots and more, but there is a very clear need for believable professional performances to portray genuine emotion.

Monsters
Sometimes you can say a lot without any words. Growls, Snarls, Hisses and Clicks… For horror stories, video games, or just that terrifying ambience to really set the mood.
